The largest of the U.S. Virgin Islands, St. Croix is the eastern most point in the United States. About 45 miles south of sister islands St. Thomas and St. John. The island is known as the more layed back of the Virgin Islands, less commercial and less densely populated. With about 50k residents, the same as St. Thomas, but double the land area. St. Croix is 82 square miles with 27 unique beaches. St. Croix has two towns, Christiansted in the East, and Frederiksted in the West.
